TWO MAPPOWDER HEROES

The above photographs are of two former
Mappowder men who lost their lives during
the recent North Sea Battle.
William Robert Miller (top picture) was Leading
Seaman on H.M.S. Queen Mary He was 32
years of age, and was the husband of Mrs. Kathleen
Miller, who resides at Portsmouth. Deceased
formerly lived Mappowder.
The second picture of Reginald Walter Cuff,
Mechanician, husband of Mrs. Lena Cuff, of Ply-
mouth, who lost his life H.M.S. Defence. He
was 28 years of age, and was late of Mappowder.
