NOTICE, OF DISTRIBUTION OF NAVAL PRIZE BOUNTY MONEY FOR THE BATTLE OF JUTLAND. Department of the Accountant-General of the Navy, Admiralty, 8th July, 1921
Notice is hereby given to the Officers, Seamen and Marines not now serving that the distribution of the award of Prize Bounty granted to the crews of H.M. Ships named below for the destruction of certain German Ships of War in the Battle of Jutland -31st May-1st June, 1916, is being made in the Prize Branch of the Department of the Accountant-General of the Navy, Admiralty.
All applications from persons entitled to share who are not now serving and have not yet applied should be addressed to the Accountant-General of the Navy (Prize Branch, Room 33), Cornwall House, Stamford Street, London, S.E. 1. Such applications should be accompanied by Certificates of Service whenever available, or failing such Certificates, by other evidence of identity. The shares of deceased Officers and Men will be paid to their legal representatives.
The large numbers engaged only admit of a very small unit of distribution, the individual shares for the classes enumerated below being: —
