BRAVE ACTION ON H.M.S. WARRIOR.
W.J. Rimmer, who was an able seaman on H.M.S. Warrior, has been mentioned in despatches for extinguishing fires which broke out on the vessel before she sank. She was badly damaged in the Jutland naval battle, and went down after being towed about seventy miles.
His parents reside in Warburton-street, Hall-lane, Liverpool. He has been in the Navy for two years, and joined the Warrior eighteen months ago.		 Liverpool Echo 5 July 1916 via Spike Sheldon
