Leading Stoker Harold Potter

Although labelled as H Porter, we believe this must be Harold Tom Potter, not least because he was indeed wounded at Jutland, and has a head bandage in this photo. The Daily Mirror printed several pictures of casualties, and he is not the only one mis-named.

The record says 'burns face and hands, lacerated wounds chest'. Termed slight, but on Hospital Ship 2/6/1916 and then Haslar 9/6/1916.
