MORE LOCAL SAILORS WHO DIED.
The following 5 men were on H.M.S. Indefatigable: - Stoker John McEvoy, whose mother, Mrs. R. McEvoy, resides at 71, Wellington-road, DIngle, was 18 years of age, and joined the navy last July for the duration of the war. Gunner Walter Parry had had nine years' service in the Royal Navy, and was 25 years of age. He was the youngest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Parry, late of Princes's Park, Liverpool. Stoker Charles Birch was 30 years of age, and had served in the navy for 12 years. He leaves a widow, who resides at 48, Wrayburn-street, Liverpool. First-class Stoker John Sherry was 19 years of age. His parents reside at 8 Ascot-street, Liverpool. Acting Leading Stoker James Wilding had served in the navy for 5 years, and was 28 years of age. He resided at 18 Blair-street, Liverpool.
