Ship’s badges (artwork) were not made official until late 1918. Prior to this some ships had developed a design in the form of gun tompions or headed paper. So at Jutland no ship had an official badge. In the top left of the associated crew list is the artwork that was used on a ship prior to 1918 and to the right is the ship's badge that was used when artwork became official and retained that ship's name (irrespective of the type of ship which might be different from that at Jutland). Some of the earlier designs were incorporated within the latter official works.
