ARTHUR ROWLAND KEMP.
Among the brave fellows who went
down in the glorious naval battle, was
Arthur Rowland Kemp, the only son of
Police Inspector Kemp of Kennington.
Inspector Kemp was a sergeant at the
Beckenham Police Station until a few
years ago. His son who was only 21
years of age was on H.M.S. Queen Mary
and was officer's steward on board.		 Beckenham Journal
