|WILLIAM REID HUNT
Leading Torpedo Operator W.R.Hunt.
Wm. Reid Hunt, son of Mr. and Mrs. J.T. Hunt, 20 Bryan-road, Whitegate-drive, was one of the brave seamen who went down with the "Queen Mary" during the great sea fight off Jutland. Twenty-nine years of age he was an A.B. and leading torpedo operator. He had been in the Navy 13 years, and was home on leave a short time ago. His youngest brother, a private in the 4th East Lancashire Regiment, was serverely wounded at the Dardanelles last year.
