| WALTER FOSTER Amongst the crew of H.M.S. Black Prince was a Birmingham lad (First-class Stoker W. Foster, 23, Milner-road, Selly Oak), seated on the extreme left of the above picture. He was twenty-two years of age and had been in the Navy for four years. The men of the Black Prince proved themselves good comrades in time of peace and brave soldiers when the call came. |
