TONBRIDGE VICTIMS OF THE NAVAL FIGHT
Leading Signalman Frederick John Field, brother of Mrs. P. Simmons, of ,24, Nelson Avenue, Tonbridge, is another of the many heroes who have laid down their lives for their country. He was only 26 years of age, and had only been on his ship, H.M.S. Turbulent, a fortnight. He was single and had been in the Navy eight years.
