Aberdeen Jutland Hero Honoured.

Lieutenant R. M. Porter, R.N.R., who has
been recommended for promotion to the rank
of Commander for gallantry in the Jutland
battle. Though severely injured by an explosion
he personally superintended the extinction of
the fire and the removal of the wounded. He
is a son of the late Mr John Porter, National
Telephone Company, Limited, Aberdeen.		 Aberdeen Evening Express
